Live 5-hour and 7-day usage percentages sit in your menu bar. No dashboard hunting.
Marathoner pauses proactively before Claude Code hits the limit—not after the task fails.
For the 5-hour window—the everyday limit behind a typical overnight pause—work resumes automatically after reset.
Marathoner does a few operational jobs that matter when Claude Code runs unattended—and skips everything else.
Current limit percentages are visible directly in the macOS menu bar.
Sleep prevention stays active while Claude is working, then gets out of the way.
A proper lightweight macOS app. Fast launch, low overhead, no bundled browser.
No session logs. Nothing uploaded. Usage data stays on your Mac.
Typical overnight pauses continue automatically. On the rarer weekly limit, Marathoner pauses and notifies you so you can resume manually after reset.
When you hit a limit, the path Anthropic monetizes is extra usage — billed every time you hit the wall. A feature whose only job is to quietly wait out a reset you've already paid for doesn't sell more usage, so it isn't where their effort goes. Meanwhile, you're the one losing the overnight run.
Marathoner doesn't bypass or speed up your limits — it respects them. It waits for the official reset and uses Claude Code's official hooks. Nothing is emulated, and your account is never touched. Entirely within Anthropic's Terms of Service.
Get more out of the plan you already pay for. Flip one switch, finish more work inside the same limits — all within the rules.
/usage command and the local Claude CLI auth status (sign-in method, email, and subscription type when reported). Auth status is processed only on your Mac and is never transmitted by Marathoner. It never reads your prompts, code, session logs, API keys, or keychain.Mac at activation or the Creem-issued activation ID at validation. The license payload contains nothing else. No Creem request is made during the trial or free monitoring.Don't take our word for it — watch Marathoner with Little Snitch or any network monitor.
Try every feature free for 3 days. One purchase covers three Macs and Marathoner is yours forever.
Anthropic's incentive when you hit a limit is to sell extra usage, not to help you wait out a reset for free — so a polished pause-and-resume autopilot isn't on their critical path. And even if a basic version showed up, Marathoner already does more than resume: live limit monitoring in the menu bar, caffeine to keep the Mac awake, and notifications. It also stays strictly within Anthropic's Terms — it waits for the official reset and uses official hooks, emulating nothing.
Marathoner is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so it opens with a double-click. Marathoner reads Claude Code's own /usage output and local CLI auth status, but never your session transcripts, prompts, code, API keys, or keychain; neither usage nor auth data is transmitted by Marathoner. It has no telemetry or analytics. Standard local macOS diagnostics visible in Console are the only logs, and they never leave your Mac. Verify the two network request types yourself with Little Snitch or any network monitor.
Two kinds. Once a day, Sparkle checks an appcast on upgradeyour.ai for updates; you can turn automatic update checks off in Settings. When you activate a license or during periodic license validation, Marathoner contacts Creem with the license key plus an anonymized device marker: the fixed label Mac at activation or the Creem-issued activation ID at validation. The license payload contains nothing else, and no Creem request is made during the trial or free monitoring. You can see both request types with Little Snitch or any network monitor.
Yes. Marathoner supports Claude Code sessions started from the CLI and from the desktop app.
Limit monitoring remains free. A license unlocks proactive pause and automatic resume around the everyday 5-hour window, including typical overnight runs.
The weekly wall is much rarer than the everyday 5-hour window. If you reach it, Marathoner pauses and notifies you; because a weekly reset may still be several days away, continue the run manually after the reset.
One $69 license activates Marathoner on up to three Macs.
